| Set the arms @ the same lenght as the stock arms. We'll call that the "base" lenght. Now any car that would be using these would also have lowered suspension (starting @ .8 for eibachs and even lower for other brands or coil overs). For example Eibachs w. stock arms are about -1 degree out of spec (this is the premis that the 300degree camber kit works on and it adds "lenght" to the stock upper arm by spacing it off of the body of the car). In a Eibach lowered car you will have to adjust the arms and unthread them a bit to get the extra lenght you need. My question is how much (%) of the threaded shaft is still in the collar vs. what has been unscrewed. To me it seems like on cars that have esp. lowered suspensions (coil overs etc) that the amount that stays threaded in the shorter center piece is less and less.
